A local artist will teach you the basics such as gradation, light and shadow and texture. Return home with your own work of art. Please bring the following items:
Liquitex paint or any fine art paint (not craft paint) colours: medium red, hooker's green, medium blue, mars black, burnt umber, medium yellow, titanium white - #6 flat synthetic bristle brush (not natural hair) - #4 round synthetic bristle brush - 16x20 canvas board - 3 or 4 photos of subject or magazine picture (blown up to at least 8x10 - done at most photocopy centres) - smock or apron
