A local artist will teach you the basics such as gradation, light and shadow and texture. Return home with your own work of art. Please bring the following items. Liquitex paint or any fine art paint (not craft paint) colours: medium red, hooker's green, medium blue, mars black, burnt umber, medium yellow, titanium white - #6 flat synthetic bristle brush (not natural hair) - #4 round synthetic bristle brush - 16x20 canvas board - 3 or 4 photos of subject or magazine picture (blown up to at least 8x10 - done at most photocopy centres) - smock or apron
