Description
Try-It RHLC introduces young athletes ages 6 to 16 to the sport of lifesaving. Participants must have completed Swimmer 2 or higher.During this 45-minute session, participants will have the opportunity to experience a variety of lifesaving sport events and skills, including Tow a Manikin with Fins, Obstacle Swim, Manikin Carry, and Line Throw.RHLC registration is based on the athlete’s age, with each level requiring different skills for training and competition in Ontario. As athletes progress through the age categories, they will develop new skills and participate in age-appropriate events. The club season runs from September to June and concludes with the opportunity to compete at the Ontario Lifesaving Sport Championships.
