This summer series is designed to strengthen students’ technical drawing skills while building a strong, cohesive portfolio for art school applications. Through guided lessons in landscape, perspective, figure drawing, and still life, participants will develop both confidence and precision in observational drawing.
Students will develop 3-5 high-quality portfolio pieces, a collection of sketches and notes, an artist’s statement, and an understanding of how to document and present their work for applications. Students will learn to observe the world around them with a heightened sensitivity, creating a portfolio that stands out for its unique narrative and process-driven approach!
