Description

Ready to take your pottery skills to the next level? This class is designed for intermediate students to build on foundational knowledge and explore new techniques in hand building pottery. Participants will refine techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slabbing while exploring more intricate decorative methods. Each session combines guided demonstrations with independent creative time, allowing students to experiment and push their personal artistic style. In the final session, participants will use glaze and underglaze to enhance the colour and finish of their pieces. After kiln-firing, students take home a collection of sophisticated functional and decorative pottery, showcasing their skill development and creativity.

Suitable for students who have completed at least 2 sessions of Hand Building Pottery Level 1
Artworks will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup 4-6 weeks after the final class – participants will be notified via email
