Are you an older adult looking for motivation to become physically active?
INFORMATION SESSION ON FREE PROGRAM! Space is limited

Choose to Move is a FREE 3-month program for older adults who are inactive and wishing to become more active. Choose to Move is not a fitness class or movement class. It is a motivational coaching program where you will meet with an Activity Coach and other participants to discuss ways to incorporate more physical activity into your life. Participants of Choose to Move is offered concurrently with the free ActivAge™ program . Each segment is 1 hour long for a total of 2 hours. Attending both parts is optional.

ActivAge™ is a free 3-month group-led physical activity program for inactive older adults. It introduces participants to physical activity and reinforces their commitment to incorporate it into their daily lives. The fun and social program is progressive with planned physical activities (stretching, activity, and cool-down) based on ActivAge™ training. The focus is on improving activities associated with daily living, strengthening muscles used day-to-day (ie: bending, lifting, etc). Each class incorporates physical activities that engage participants, and features in-class discussions and resources to improve overall health and physical well-being.

BCRPA certified instructor leads this fun and enjoyable free fitness and educational class for seniors.
Barb is a North Shore resident and is committed to promoting lifelong fitness. She is currently an aquafit instructor for the NVRC and is also trained in group fitness, weight training and older adults. Barb is a retired lawyer with 5 children."
