Celebrating Mid-Autumn Moon Festival
The 2026 Mid-Autumn Moon Festival falls on September 25. This festival dates back 2000 years ago, celebrating the year's fullest moon, equinox, with unity, harvest and gratitude, often described as an Asian Thanksgiving, and celebrate connections and cultural sharing.
This family-friendly event starts with activities like red lantern making, fan painting, mooncake tasting and photo booth in costumes, followed by traditional Chinese music (guzheng, erhu, dizi and others), Korean drumming, and Tibetan cultural dance performance.
Performances include:
-Chinese Heritage Music Instrument Group;
-Yang Family Trio (Piano, violin, cello);
-Vanta Korean Drummers, and
-Tibetan Folk Dancers
