Qualifications:
- Current holder of Standard First Aid/CPR-C
- Willing to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Experience in Program area preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervision and instruction of participants in instructional programs.
- Implementing lesson plans for each class.
- Assist with participants when needed to ensure instruction is progressive in nature
- Supervision, safety & wellbeing of participants.
- Ensures set-up and take down of equipment before and after the program.
- Documents and communicates any incident/accidents that occur to the Rec Lead.
- Excellent customer services skills
- Ability to remain calm during difficult situations and resolve conflicts tactfully.
Attendant I: Drop-in Sports - $17.60/hour
Attendant II: Skate Patrol (indoor) - $18.10/hour
Attendant III: Skate Patrol (outdoor) - $19.10/hour
Programs Assistant I: General Sports, Educational Programs – $17.60/hour
Program Assistant II: Preschool Programs– $18.10/hour
Program Assistant III: Learn to Skate, Playschool, Specialty Sports - $19.10/hour
Program Instructor I: Preschool & Children programs (excluding dance) – $20.10/hour
Program Instructor II: Dance (all ages) – $21.07/hour
Program Head Instructor I (Learn to Skate) - $21.90/hour
