Description
Delivered in partnership with Thatz Showbiz Theatre Project. This inclusive performing arts experience invites participants, who are neurodivergent and/or have intellectual disabilities, to explore singing, acting, movement and storytelling in ways that are adapted to their strengths, interests, and needs. Instructed by professional singer, performer, arts educator, researcher and PhD candidate, Sarah Magni, each week, you build creative skills, confidence and connection while working collaboratively toward performing a musical theatre classic. Get your vocal cords warmed up as you boost your social and communication skills, as well as, your problem solving, fitness, presentation, and public speaking abilities. The program wraps up with a performance for family and friends, celebrating the journey as much as the final result. Whether you're new to theatre or returning to the stage, this is a place to explore, participate and be heard through shared creative expression.
