Description
Delivered in partnership with the Learning Disabilities Association of York‑Simcoe. This interactive program supports children with learning disabilities (LD) and attention‑deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as they build confidence and strengthen social and emotional skills. Led by expert facilitators, participants practice communication, friendship building, emotional regulation, problem‑solving and self‑advocacy, while also developing strategies to manage stress and navigate bullying, including online interactions. Using the evidence‑based PEERS® curriculum and Social Thinking® approach, the program helps children build skills that support successful participation at school, at home and in the community, while fostering a stronger sense of belonging.
