This program is a combination of two major engineering fields: robotics and mechanical engineering. Construct and program a robot that follows your instructions. Then, think critically and learn to adapt and find solutions when unexpected issues come up like code not working or sensors that don’t respond correctly. Using coding, motors and sensors, you will also explore several of the mechanical forces that create movement in various machines. You’ll use the Engineering for Kids’ Engineering Design Process to create exciting projects that spin, cascade and more. You’ll learn practical skills and discover how engineering can be found in the machines all around us.
