Description

Bring your team to the ice for a full season of organized recreational hockey. Designed for players aged 50+ with basic hockey skills, including those who may be new to organized league play, the league offers a welcoming level of competition without losing the structure of a full hockey season. The 18-week season includes 16 weeks of regular-season play followed by playoffs and a championship, with standings, VSL referees and an onsite convener to support safe and fair play. Teams play one 40-minute, 5-on-5 game per week. Note: Teams require a minimum of 12 and maximum of 16 players. Team jerseys are not required, but matching shirts or jerseys are recommended. Players must provide their own CSA-approved hockey helmet with full cage, visor or shield, and full ice hockey equipment. Hockey nets provided.
