Description
This unique summer camp is perfect for kids who love being in the water. Each day blends swimming instruction, science and classic camp fun as you explore the fascinating ways water works through hands-on STEM activities and playful pool time. Start your mornings with one hour of swim instruction followed by STEM experiments that introduce a different water concept each day, like buoyancy, density or resistance. You’ll discover why we float, how water strengthens our bodies, the difference between salt and fresh water, and much more. In the afternoons, you’ll enjoy another STEM block, then head back to the pool to put your learning into action during rec swim. You’ll build confidence, independence and essential swimming skills in a supportive environment focused on water safety and fun — with time for crafts, active games and all the best parts of summer camp built in. The camp day is 8:30am to 4:30pm. Camp programming runs from 9am to 4pm. Before & After Care is available for campers who require care before the camp day begins, from 7:30-8:30am, and after the camp day has ended, from 4:30-6pm. Separate registration is required.
