Description
Come join Food Skills for Active Adults, sponsored by the BCCDC in partnership with Renfrew Park Community Association, in a healthy eating program offered to participants who want to share and learn more about food and connect with others. These programs aim to teach and encourage healthy cooking in a fun relaxed atmosphere while building confidence, skills, and healthy habits. It combines discussions for group knowledge sharing and hands-on cooking in the kitchen.
NOTE: Registration is limited to one Food Skills Session per person. This includes sessions coming up in January and February 2027. You may register for additional days if space is remaining on first day of session.
This particular curriculum focuses on creating balanced meals for active adults that include tips for increasing daily fibre and protein, as well as strategies for maintaining healthy habits during the holiday season!
