GLOW Placement Guidelines
Glow placements are designed to support each dancer’s technical development, confidence, and overall success within the program. Placement recommendations are based on previous training experience, technical readiness, maturity, and instructor assessment. Teacher recommendation may be required for some levels. Equivalent training from other ballet and dance programs may be considered. Final placement is subject to instructor assessment to ensure dancers are placed in the environment best suited for their development and safety.
Glow 4 Recommended background:
• Approximately 7–9 years of ballet training
• Completion of Royal Academy of Dance Level 6 or equivalent
• Previous pointe experience
• Previous training in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and acro/gymnastics
This program runs progressively from September to June, allowing dancers to build skills and confidence throughout the year before advancing to the next level. Students will need to re-register during Winter and Spring to stay in the program.
