Description

Prerequisite: At least 5 years of age, no previous swimming experience required. Children who have not completed Red Cross – Preschool 5 – Whale but are over the age of 5 are recommended to register for this program.

In this level

Swimmers learn front and back floats, front, side and back glides, rhythmic breathing, rolling laterally, flutter kick on front and back, deep and shallow water entries and exits, treading water for 30 secs in a PFD, and swim 5m of front crawl with a PFD.
