Description
Students entering Preschool Level 5 must be able to:
Forward skating using V pushes
Forward double sculling
Glide on two feet on a curve
Intro to backwards sculling
Backward gliding on two feet for ½ a metre
Half snowplow stop (left and right)
Side step/cross feet on a straight line
Informal inside edges (left and right)
Students entering Preschool Level 6 must be able to:
One foot glide for 1 metre (left and right)
Backward gliding on two foot for 1 metre
Backward double sculling (5 consecutive)
Fast skate and stop
Full snowplow stop
Backward half snowplow stop (left and right)
Intro to single sculling (clockwise and counter clockwise)
