Volunteers will support our Aftercare program, working with children ages 6–12 years in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. Volunteers will assist in program activities with the support and guidance of Day Camp staff. This is a great opportunity to gain leadership experience, build confidence, and make a positive impact in the lives of younger campers.
Volunteer Responsibilities (with support from Day Camp staff):
- Providing active supervision to help ensure a safe and inclusive environment
- Assisting with and leading crafts
- Supporting group games
- Helping organize and prepare program supplies and materials
- Assisting with daily set-up and clean-up
Requirements:
- Attendance at the mandatory Day Camp Volunteer Orientation (Wednesday, June 17 – Activity #613332) is required.
- A completed Volunteer Application Form must be on file.
- Volunteers aged 16 years and older must have a cleared Police Information Check on file prior to their first day.
Volunteers are expected to be positive role models, demonstrate responsibility and teamwork, and actively participate in all activities.
