Intermediate/Standard First Aid (Blended) with CPR/AED Level C
A comprehensive course designed for individuals requiring certification for work or those seeking more in-depth emergency response skills for home and community settings. This course meets provincial workplace safety requirements and follows the latest Red Cross guidelines. (Occupational First Aid Level 2 equivalent)

Preparing to respond
The EMS system
Check, Call, Care
Airway, breathing, and circulation emergencies
First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest
Wound care
Head and spine injuries
Bone, muscle, and joint injuries
Sudden medical emergencies
Environmental emergencies
Poisons
Blended format:
Participants complete 3–6 hours of online learning prior to the course date, followed by a 7-hour in-person training session.
Certificate is valid for 3 years issued by the Canadian Red Cross
