Architecture Around the World Camp with Petit Architect

Embark on a global building adventure! In this immersive, week-long STEAM camp, kids will explore the fascinating world of vernacular and traditional architecture. Each day, campers will discover how communities around the world have designed homes using local materials, clever techniques, and sustainable practices—then bring those designs to life with their own hands.

Campers will:

• Learn about the history, culture, and environmental wisdom behind each type of home.

• Experiment with natural and recycled materials to build their models.

• Problem-solve like traditional builders—how to keep cool in the desert, stay warm in the Arctic, or withstand monsoon rains.

By the end of the week, each camper will have a collection of traditional home models and a new appreciation for how architecture reflects culture, climate, and creativity. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and love for hands-on building!
