Description

Start or continue learning tennis in a small group setting. Lessons focus on developing fundamental movement, tracking, and racquet skills. An emphasis is placed on developing motor skills and physical literacy specific to tennis. Participants must being their own Rackets. Please note this activity is held at Robson Park tennis courts (13th Ave and St.George St.)

Student Background

  • Has some or no experience in tennis
  • Beginning to develop technique for groundstrokes

  • Develop fundamental forehand technique
  • Develop timing of swing with bounce of ball
  • Develop ball tracking skills
  • Develop a love for tennis in a positive environment
