Youth Camp is designed to help young people build leadership and communication skills while preparing for future volunteer opportunities. This program blends fun, learning, and friendship in a safe and welcoming environment. Through engaging discussions, group projects, and confidence-building activities, youth grow both individually and as part of a team.
Each week features a new theme explored through interactive workshops, leadership games, and team-building activities that encourage leadership, confidence, cooperation, and curiosity. Campers take part in creative arts and crafts and enjoy local outings and excursions throughout the Lower Mainland, including swimming, ice skating, and visits to fun venues. Activities are designed to make the most of community spaces and nearby parks while inspiring connection and a sense of belonging. Youth Camp also offers a variety of games, sports, and hands-on projects, helping youth connect with others in their community—so come join us and be part of something great! Travel may take place by public transit, charter bus, or on foot.
Sessions are held in a lively youth room with fluorescent lighting and open spaces. Youth should bring a backpack with a snack, lunch, a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, and closed-toe shoes. To support all participants, we provide daily visual schedules and a quiet corner equipped with sensory tools.
