Ballet I

This is a wonderful class where children will be introduced to Ballet technique, composition, creation and performance skills. The class is composed of a ballet warm up, attending to posture, musicality and fun. A new skill will be introduced and practiced in each class. Ballet Notebooks, coloured pencils and markers will be used to draw, write technique and poetize about each new skill set. A 5 minute break. Last part of class we will use a dance book " A Dancing book of Transformation" as part of the creative process. A dance piece will be created by the children using themes chosen in tune with each Season. A Performance will be held on the last day of class for family and friends. Children will receive A Ballet Notebook, colored pencils and markers and a Certificate of Completion. $20/Drop-in space permitting.
