Description
This course is a continuation of a very popular series that has run since 2023. Maximum enrollment has been expanded from the original 10 to 20 participants due to demand. As the course is ongoing and not repetitive, many students have become regulars and continue from term to term. The course is a mixture of lectures on the history of 20th century popular music and culture using audio video by the instructor along with the dynamic of participants interacting with him and others in the room with questions and observations. The people involved are mostly of a certain age. The instructor is a semi-retired West End resident who had a lifelong career as a professional performing and recording musician. Some West End residents may remember him as a member of the BobCats band at the old Dover Arms pub. Enroll early as demand is high!. Drop-in $13 (three spots available per week).
