Enrollment opens April 8, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.Led by the Explorers Day Camp Leaders, join us this summer at Hillcrest for an action-packed week of indoor and outdoor activities including group games, arts and crafts, sports, and out-trips. This is a leadership themed day camp with weekly activities focused on developing various skills such as self-confidence, teamwork, communication, volunteerism, money skills, goal-setting, and much more! Outdoor recreational activities may include kayaking, hiking, high ropes course, geo-caching, community clean-ups, golfing, etc. Each day will be filled with exciting activities to keep youth engaged throughout the summer. This program will take place at the Vancouver Curling Club - Board Room.
IMPORTANT NOTES - PLEASE READ:
1) Activity calendars and consent forms, along with camp expectations and guidelines will be shared at least one week before the first day of camp. Please ensure we have an up-to-date e-mail address on your account to receive this information. A Parent/Caregiver Consent Form must be completed and received at the centre prior to or on the day of your child's first day in camp. Children will not be permitted in the program until the completed form is received.
2) We will not be accepting waitlists for all summer day camps. Registration is available on a first-come-first-serve basis only. If the program is full, please check back for future openings.
3) This is a recreational day camp program with a staff to participant ratio of 1:10. Should your child require additional support from leaders, we appreciate more information prior to their participation to ensure a successful summer day camp experience. Please contact the Hillcrest Community Youth Worker - sally.chan@vancouver.ca with more details. Additional documents will be required for any child attending the program with a 1:1 support worker.
