Beaded Poppy

Craft a whimsical beaded pin, perfect for Remembrance Day or any occasion! In this workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of flat stich beading, a foundational technique used in many Indigenous crafts. By the end, you’ll have the skills to create beautiful pins, barrettes, and medallions, while exploring the artistry behind beading. This workshop requires an additional $30 materials fee (cash only), payable to the instructor. Please note, beads are small and delicate, please come prepared for fine bead work. Magnifying glasses will be provided as required. The final piece is approximately 4 centimeters.
