Are you looking for focused classes with a shorter time commitment? Fall Harvest workshop, you will discover the art of preserving vegetables in oil, basket weaving and more in this hands-on Fall Harvest in Franklin Children's Garden. Learn how to make the perfect sandwich toppings with oil-soaked veggies using fresh produce and simple ingredients. Take plants and transform them into usable baskets. Even create your own paper in the paper making process. Participants will get to go from station to station, participating in different activities, and even enjoy a “taste of the garden”. Please arrive at the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal in time to take the 9:00am ferry to Centre Island. Upon arrival at the Centre Island Ferry Dock, our Garden Staff will meet you and accompany you on a short walk to Franklin Children's Garden.
