Eco Printing & Dyes

Participants will learn this natural dyeing technique that uses leaves, flowers and other plant materials to create patterns and colours on fabric or paper. You'll be guided through the eco-printing process set-by-step - from selecting and arranging plant materials to bundling, steaming and revealing the final designs. Along the way, you'll explore how different plants release natural pigments creating organic patterns, subtle colour variations and unexpected textures. The result is a unique, one-of-a-kind print that captures the beauty of nature. A material fee of $30 (cash only) payable to instructor.
