In partnership with University Health Network, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, a modified exercise program suitable for adults with mobility challenges, who can walk at least 10 metres and may use a cane or walker. Exercises are designed to increase strength, balance, mobility and overall health. Participant screening is required prior to registration.
You may bring a support person with you. FitnessTO memberships do not apply.
Participants Must Be Able To:
1. Walk 10 meters (2 lane residential street) without the help of another person.
-Can use other kind of aide.
-Speed and quality is not important
2. Follow instructions and demonstrations in small group setting.
3. Safely stand and move with hand support for balance.
4. Rise from a chair on their own.
