Sewing: Alterations, Repairs, and Upcycling,

Transform clothing into custom pieces. You will learn how to do alterations such as repairs to torn clothing, reducing the size of a garment, lengthening, or shortening sleeves, hems, replacing a zipper, and adding buttonholes for buttons . This course is designed to teach to the strengths of the individual learner. Students must bring their own garments to alter for the final class. Class will practice on samples provided by instructor and move toward altering clothing they provide based on their own skill level.
