Make a functional planter while exploring a mix
of hand-building techniques in this intermediate-level workshop. You’ll combine
methods like slab building and pinch forms to create a piece that’s both
practical and thoughtfully designed, encouraging problem-solving around
structure, drainage and form. The first two classes focus on building your
planter. In the third session, you’ll learn glazing through a demo, then have
time in the remaining classes to glaze independently. Seasonally inspired and
hands-on, this class is perfect if you’re thinking about plants, repotting or
adding something handmade to your space.
