Description

Come and enjoy Canada’s national pastime—hockey! This activity introduces new hockey players to basic hockey skills and the rules of the game to prepare you for a house league or recreational play. Learn puck and stick handling, passing and shooting, as well as game strategy through a combination of lessons, drills and play.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Learn to Skate 1 or Learn to Skate - Beginner or able to skate one length of the ice surface.

Mandatory Equipment: Skaters must bring (wear) a CSA-approved hockey helmet with a full visor or cage, a hockey stick, hockey skates, hockey gloves and a neck guard.
