Description

This course is offered in collaboration with the Lifesaving Society. Blending aquatic safety management - including regulatory requirements - with the essential knowledge of facility operations, this introductory course provides pool operators with the knowledge and resources to operate and maintain swimming pools in accordance with provincial health regulations. The Standard First Aid (CPR C) certification provides comprehensive first aid training that covers spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, abdominal and chest injuries, burns, medical emergencies, and automated external defibrillator usage.
