Description
Adult Swimmer 1: Work towards completing short distance swims (10 - 15 m) on your front and back. Learn stroke fundamentals such as floats, rolls, glides, and kicks. Develop your underwater skills and build your confidence in the water.
Adult Swimmer 2: Learn the next level of skills! Practice different entries into deep water including dives, rolls, and tuck jumps. Work towards treading water for 1-2 minutes by building strength and endurance. Learn new underwater skills including handstands in shallow water and front somersaults (in water). Learn to meet the Swim to Survive standard by rolling into deep water, treading water for 1 minute, and swimming 50 m. Improve your front crawl, back crawl, and whip kick. Learn the breaststroke.
Adult Swimmer 3: Master your front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke. Learn challenging skills such as shallow dives, stride entries, and compact jumps. Focus on developing lifesaving kicks. Improve your fitness levels by working towards completing 300 m workouts and 25 - 50 m sprints.
