Buzz into sewing fun! Artists will create their very own adorable bumblebee plush using soft fleece fabrics. Along the way, they’ll learn how to use a sewing machine, troubleshoot like a pro, and build confidence with both machine and hand sewing. Cute, cozy, and totally handmade! This program is for all sewing levels.
This program includes time for artists to practice sewing, design their projects and start to learn a bit about machine set-up and troubleshooting. It is perfect for artists ages 7-14 with no or limited sewing experience.
Reminder: We will celebrate our work at our Art Show on May 19 from 6:00-6:30 (due to the art show our regular program time ends on May 12th). All art will be available for pick up starting at 6:30pm on May 19 (after the art show).
Sewing machine and materials provided.
Creative Bug is proud to bring art to your community along with creative leadership and employment opportunities for youth as they learn how to design and facilitate programs while building confidence and having fun. Registration fees support the class materials, wages and mentorship of future leaders.
