Artists will dive into a colourful collection of fabrics and zippers to design and sew their very own Drawstring Backpack perfect for carrying books, art supplies, and handmade treasures!
This program includes time for artists to practice sewing, design their projects and start to learn a bit about machine set-up and troubleshooting. It is perfect for artists ages 6-10 with no or limited sewing experience.
Reminder: We will celebrate our work at our Art Show on May 19 from 6:00-6:30 (due to the art show our regular program time ends on May 12th). All art will be available for pick up starting at 6:30pm on May 19 (after the art show).
Sewing machine and materials provided.

Registration fees support the class materials, wages and mentorship of future leaders.
