Description
In this class for youth and adults’ participants will prepare to become instructors to teach the Lifesaving Society Canadian Swim Patrol, Bronze medal awards and Emergency First Aid.
Pre-requisites:
- 15 years of age
- Bronze Cross or National Lifeguard

- Instructor Manual
- Swim Patrol Award Guide
- Bronze Medal Award Guide
- First Aid Award Guide
Course materials are not included in the cost of the program. The Lifesaving & Swim Instructor Combined Pack can be purchased at time of checkout.
Reminders:
- 100% attendance is required.
- Pre-requisites must be brought on the first day of class.
- NEW – All candidates presenting themselves at a Lifesaving Society course; original or recertification, must verify their identity to the instructor, examiner or trainer. Identification must be valid, include name, date of birth, and be issued by a government authority. Examples include Driver’s License, Health Card or Passport. - Aquatics Leadership Programs Refund Policy - Refunds will only be issued 14 days prior to the start of the program. No refunds will be issued after this time.
