Description

In this class for youth and adults’ participants will prepare to become instructors to teach the Lifesaving Society Canadian Swim Patrol, Bronze medal awards and Emergency First Aid.

Pre-requisites:
  • 15 years of age
  • Bronze Cross or National Lifeguard

Required Materials:
  • Instructor Manual
  • Swim Patrol Award Guide
  • Bronze Medal Award Guide
  • First Aid Award Guide
Course materials are not included in the cost of the program. The Lifesaving & Swim Instructor Combined Pack can be purchased at time of checkout.

Reminders:
  • 100% attendance is required.
  • Pre-requisites must be brought on the first day of class.
  • NEW – All candidates presenting themselves at a Lifesaving Society course; original or recertification, must verify their identity to the instructor, examiner or trainer. Identification must be valid, include name, date of birth, and be issued by a government authority. Examples include Driver’s License, Health Card or Passport.
