Assumption of Risk
By engaging in ice skating, participants and deemed to have knowledge of and assume the inherent risks of skating, which include, but are not limited to the following:
- injuries that result from collisions or contact with others
- injuries that result from slips, trips and falls
- ice conditions that may change over the course of the season due to temperature and skater traffic.
Public Programming Admission Requirements and Rules
- Players of all abilitie3s can participate in shinny hockey.
- There is a maximum of 24 players for each game.
- Sign-ins are not accepted until 30 minutes before your start time
- Full equipment, including a CSA-certified helmet, and light and dark jerseys are required.
- Proof of payment (ex wristbands) will be required prior to entering the ice surface.
- No headsets, cell phones, or handheld electronic devices are permitted to be used while skating.
- Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances and anyone under the influence will not be permitted on the premises.
- All participants must wear skates while on the ice surface
- All games are non-contact. No checking or fighting is permitted.
- No slapshots are permitted.
- Profanity and improper behaviour are not permitted.
- Report all accidents or injuries to arena staff members immediately.
- Anyone not adhering to the rules may be ejected from the game.
