Assumption of Risk

By engaging in ice skating, participants are deemed to have knowledge of and assume the inherent risks of skating, which include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Injuries that result from collisions or contact with other skaters
  • Injuries that result from slips, trips and falls.
  • Ice conditions that may change over the course of the session due to temperature and skater traffic.
Public Programming Admissions Requirements and Rules
  • Pre-register online, in advance
  • Proof of payment (i.e. Hand Stamp) may be required prior to entering ice surface
  • Sign-ins will not be accepted until 30 minutes before program start time unless otherwise noted
  • Players of all abilities can participate.
  • Maximum 24 players.
  • Free admission for the first four goalies. Additional goalies will be charged current admission fee.
  • Full equipment, including CSA approved helmet, and a light and dark jersey are required
  • Slap shots are not permitted
  • All games are non-contact. No checking or fighting
  • Persons not adhering to the rules may be asked to leave
  • Profanity and improper behaviour will not be permitted
  • Report all accidents or injuries to arena staff members immediately
  • No headsets, cell phones or handheld electronic devices are to be used while skating
  • All participants must wear skates while on the ice surface
  • Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, or anyone under the influence will not be permitted on the premises
