Description
English Paper Piecing (EPP) is a hand-sewing patchwork technique where fabric is wrapped around a paper template and then basted.
These fabric-covered shapes are then joined together with hand-stitching along their edges. Once the pieces are joined the paper templates are removed, leaving a crisp, perfectly aligned patchwork.
This is a wonderfully mindful technique, and you can use up lots of small fabric remnants in your EPP projects.
All supplies are included, but feel free to bring some of your own fabric if you’d like to incorporate it into your project.
Our instructor Debbie is a graduate of Sheridan College's Craft and Design program and has worked in the fabric art space for almost 20 years.
