The Sea Horses program introduces young athletes to the exciting world of lifesaving sport in a fun, supportive, and skill-focused environment. Participants will develop strong swimming fundamentals, improve their fitness and endurance, and build water confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship through structured coaching, games, drills, and introductory lifesaving sport activities. Athletes will work with coaches to enhance their swimming technique while developing foundational event skills, including Line Throw, Obstacle Swim, and Manikin Tow, preparing them for future participation in lifesaving sport training and competition.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of Swimmer 4 (or equivalent) or higher, the ability to swim 50 metres continuously, and tread water for 30 seconds. No previous lifesaving sport experience is required.
