Description
Nova Scotia Branch of Lifesaving Society will be hosting the 2026 Canadian Waterfront Lifesaving Championship.
The competition is sanctioned by the Royal Life Saving Society Canada. Event
rules will be in accordance with the 2025 Edition (revised May 2026) of the ILS Competition Rule Book, the 2026 Candadian Lifesaving Sport Rulebook/Handbook.
Date: August 21-23, 2026
Location: Martinique Beach and Rainbow Haven Beach, Halifax County, Nova Scotia
Divisions: Youth 15-18, Open 16+, Masters
Eligibility: Bronze Star or Higher (need not be current), Athletes must have a registered Athlete Number. Age is determined as of December 31, 2026.
Event Fee: $180, flat registration fee, includes banquet ticket.
Additional Banquet Ticket: $50 (additional ticket)
Additional Hi-Vis Tank: $45
Coaching and Trailer Fee: $535
This registration includes: competitor registration into all events, a hi-vis tank and one banquet ticket.
