Sunset Competition (Junior 7-13 Yrs)

The Town of Saugeen Shores and the Saugeen Shores Lifesaving Club are hosting its Annual Lifeguard Sunset Competition. The competition and events have been sanctioned by the Lifesaving Society. The competition will be using Ontario Competition Manual for all events.

Events for Saturday: Surf Swim, Board Race, Board Relay, Board Rescue and Rescue Tube Rescue.

Events for Sunday: Beach Run, Beach Sprints, Beach Flags and Beach Relay.

Points will be awarded to the top 16 athletes in each individual event. Relays will be exhibition and will be any combination of individuals. For those with not enough members to complete a relay team we will be mixing and matching with other clubs.

Competitors must be part of a Lifeguard club or Fundamental Lifesaving Program. There will be prizes for the top 3 female and male athletes.
