Teen Fitness Orientation (12-17 years)
All individuals participating must have a Youth Fitness Waiver signed at the Pryde AWC by a Parent/Guardian prior to starting the program.
This fitness orientation helps teens feel comfortable and confident in a fitness centre setting while teaching them how to use equipment safely, building foundational movement skills, and encouraging healthy, sustainable fitness habits.
Please wear athletic workout clothing, closed-heeled, closed‑toed indoor athletic shoes and a non-glass water bottle. They are also encouraged to bring a notepad and pen.
Youth aged 12-13 may participate but will still need a parent/guardian 18+ with them in the Fitness Centre until they reach the age of 14, at that time they are then able to attend by themselves.
