Description

All NL certifications are valid for 2 years. After 2 years the NL holder will attend an NL Recertification in the option they wish to recertify to continue lifeguarding. Candidates with an expired NL can attend an NL Recertification at any time. It is recommended that a candidate who is more than 10 years expired take a full NL course again.

Prerequisite: Proof of previous NL pool option (Need not be current). A current CPR-C is recommended but not required.
