Nadison of Fortis BC will share information about understanding utility related
risk, how communities can safely interact with natural gas and electrical
infrastructure, and how to recognize risks and prevent incidents.Ada is
the Public Safety Manager at FortisBC, where she leads targeted education and
outreach programs that help the public, first responders, and professionals
better understand how to interact with FortisBC’s natural gas and electricity
infrastructure safely. Her work focuses on building awareness, fostering
meaningful engagement, and supporting informed decision-making with communities
and stakeholders to promote safety awareness, reduce risk, and enhance
preparedness. She also serves as a Director on the Board of the BC Common Ground
Alliance, advancing safe excavation and underground infrastructure protection
across the province.
