Description
Review procedures and get recertified in this specialty course. Replaces the Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) course. Prerequisites: Lifesaving Swim Instructor certification (not Lifesaving Instructor or Red Cross Water Safety Instructor). Current within 5 years of certification date - current award recommended. January 1, 2026 UPDATE:
Effective January 1, 2026, all participants completing their Swim Instructor Recertification must first complete the Adapted Swim Instructor Course--Online Session: Meeting the Needs of Diverse Swimmers Online Course prior to their recertification date. Proof of completion must be brought to the in-person recertification session. Participants who do not complete the online course in advance or fail to provide proof of completion will be ineligible to complete the recert and will not qualify for a transfer or refund.
