Description
Discover the fun and tactile craft of needle felting in this one-day workshop. Using special barbed needles, loose wool fibres are shaped and sculpted into charming decorative creations. As the wool is repeatedly poked, the fibres become dense and firm, allowing artists to create everything from flat artwork to whimsical animals and three-dimensional figures. Relaxing, rewarding, and cozy, needle felting transforms soft wool into unique handmade pieces.
In this hands-on workshop, artist-instructor Elena Molev will guide you step-by-step in creating two festive holiday ornaments shaped like a bear and a goose. Whether you're new to felting or have some experience, you'll explore a variety of felting techniques while bringing your wool creations to life.
By the end of the workshop, you'll take home two unique handmade ornaments crafted from 100% sheep's wool, perfect for adding a cozy touch to your holiday décor or giving as thoughtful handmade gifts.
All tools and materials are provided upon payment of a $10.00 materials fee to the instructor at the workshop.
