Description

PLEASE ONLY REGISTER HERE IF YOU ARE A FREE AGENT LOOKING FOR A VOLLEYBALL TEAM IN THE RECREATIONAL CO-ED LEAGUE.

You will be assigned to a team before the start of Week #1 on Sept. 30, 2026.
This league is intended for players who have little to no experience playing competitive volleyball. This is a great opportunity to stay active, improve your volleyball skills and meet new people in a low-pressure setting.

The league is a good fit for you, if you:
  • Can perform an underhand serve fairly consistently but need improvement with overhand serves
  • Can perform basic bumps and volleys but need improvement with spiking
  • Understand basic volleyball rules (e.g. line boundaries, 3-touch maximum, clockwise rotation)

Teams must have a min. of 6 players and max. of 8 players per team (min. 2 male and 2 female).

Teams will play 5 games each week (Week #1-6) and playoff bracket games on Week #7. Each game will have 3 sets - first to 21 points. The games will be self-officiated with the assistance of the convener.

The convener reserves the right to remove players and recommend other City of Richmond Hill leagues if the playing skill level is higher than the required skill level.
