Discover the versatility of fibres with Amna Nawab. The play of textures, threads and fabrics takes you into a zone to create one off pieces that are more of a personal statement. With hand embroidery as the predominant medium, discover the magic of colour and storytelling through a play of fibre using your own hands. You don’t need to know embroidery to be able to join. This workshop aims at teaching basic stitches and slowly building up your piece by adding layers of mediums that could be embellishments. It will also demonstrate methods on dissecting complex embroidery pieces by modifying basic embroidery stitches. A supply list will be provided before the start of the first class.
